5 Days / 4 Nights Swat, Kalam, Murree (By Road)
Set out on an unforgettable 5-day adventure that connects the wild valleys of Swat and Kalam with the cool pine-clad hills of Murree and the Galiyat. From Islamabad, the smooth Swat Motorway carries you toward the royal White Palace and a peaceful evening at Fiza Ghat, where the Swat River glows at sunset. At Malam Jabba, ride the chairlift and zipline high above alpine slopes, then trade the tarmac for a rugged 4x4 climb to Mahudand Lake, ringed by forests and tumbling waterfalls.
The trail then bends toward Nathiagali, Ayubia, and Murree, where the historic Pipeline Track leads through cedar woods to the restored Motto Tunnel. Cozy hotels, private transport, and ever-changing mountain vistas make this a journey worth remembering.
Highlights of the Tour
Skardu Tour Itinerary
Depart from Islamabad at 6:00 AM for Swat via the newly built Swat Motorway. Enjoy the scenic views with a stopover along the way for photography. Upon arrival in Swat, transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit White Palace in Marghazar and Swat Museum, if operational. Later, drive to Fiza Ghat to enjoy the majestic sunset along the banks of the Swat River. Drive back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Swat.
After breakfast, depart for Malam Jabba. Upon arrival, enjoy photography and sightseeing along with various adventure activities, including the chairlift and zipline. Visit Pearl Continental Malam Jabba and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery. Later, drive back to Swat by evening. Overnight stay in Swat.
After breakfast, transfer to a 4x4 jeep for an exciting safari to the famous Mahudand Lake. Enjoy scenic stopovers along the way at Ushu Forest, Mataltan Waterfall and Paloga Village. Continue to the majestic Mahudand Lake for photography and sightseeing. Drive back to Kalam and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Kalam.
After breakfast, depart for Nathiagali via Swat and Hazara Motorway. Continue the journey towards Nathiagali through the Abbottabad route, with scenic stopovers along the way for photography and sightseeing. Upon arrival in Nathiagali, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Nathiagali.
After breakfast, enjoy sightseeing in Nathiagali and visit the Donga Gali Pipeline Track up to the newly restored Motto Tunnel from the British era. Continue to Ayubia for photography and sightseeing. Visit Patriata and Murree, if desired (optional). Later, depart for Islamabad with a possible stopover at Lake View Park, subject to time. Upon arrival in Islamabad, the tour concludes. End of services.

Notes:
- Rates valid for traveling from 1 September to 31 October.
- Starting from Lahore will increase price by Rs.28,000/-.
- For 5 persons, a Honda BRV will be used instead of a sedan car.
Payment Procedure:
- 50 % advance payment is required in order to proceed with confirmation of services, minimum 4-5 days before the event.
- 50 % balance payable before commencement of the tour.
Cancellation Policy:
- Amount will be deducted for non-refundable advance paid for Hotels and Transportation services.
- Any sunk cost not mentioned above will be deducted.
- Refund amount will be processed in 7-10 working days.
- In the event of a tour cancellation by the client, a service fee amounting to 10% of the total tour cost will be charged by the company excluding sunk costs i.e. advance of hotels and vendors etc.
Important Notes:
- Package price is based upon current fuel prices i.e Rs.345 per liter petrol and Rs.374 per liter diesel. In case of sudden increase in fuel prices, package price will be updated accordingly whether tour is already booked or not.
- In case of payment through credit card, 13% service charges will be applied. (8% GST & 5% Bank SC)
- Standard hotel check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 PM (noon)

This 5-day journey covers Swat, Kalam, Nathiagali, Ayubia, and optionally Murree and Patriata. It combines the alpine valleys of Swat and Kalam with the forested hill stations of the Galiyat region.
Murree and Patriata can be visited on Day 5 as optional stops, subject to time and your interest. The main Galiyat highlights include Nathiagali, Ayubia, and the Donga Gali Pipeline Track.
Mahudand Lake is reached by a 5-door Prado 4×4 jeep, as the route is an off-road mountain track. The rest of the tour uses a private sedan (or Honda BRV for 5 persons).
It covers private transport, fuel, 4 nights accommodation, daily breakfast, a 4×4 jeep for Mahudand Lake, driver’s food and lodging, and all tolls and taxes. Meals, entry tickets, activity charges, and personal expenses are excluded.
A 50% advance is required to confirm services, at least 4-5 days before departure, with the remaining 50% due before the tour starts. Payments can be made by cash, bank transfer, or credit card link (13% service charges apply on card payments).
