Embark on the ultimate 5-day expedition through the wild upper reaches of Azad Kashmir's Neelum Valley. From Islamabad, follow the rushing Neelum River past the cascading Dhani and Kutton Waterfalls to the border village of Keran. A thrilling 4x4 climb and alpine hike bring you to the jewel-toned Ratti Gali Lake, cradled among snow-fed peaks and summer wildflowers.
Journey onward to Sharda and up to the enchanting meadow of Arang Kel, then set off on a full-day jeep safari to remote Taobut, the valley's final frontier near the line of control, passing the hidden hamlets of Hamlat and Janawai. With four nights of cosy stays, private transport, and some of Kashmir's most breathtaking scenery throughout, this grand tour is made for true adventurers seeking untouched wilderness.

Tour Itinerary
Depart from Islamabad at 8:00 AM and travel towards the scenic Neelum Valley. Enjoy a stopover at Dhani Waterfall followed by a visit to the beautiful Kutton Waterfall. Continue the journey towards Keran and transfer to the hotel upon arrival. Spend the remaining time enjoying photography and sightseeing around Keran. Overnight stay in Keran.
After breakfast, depart for Dowarian and transfer to a 4x4 vehicle for an exciting journey towards Ratti Gali Lake. Upon arrival at the base camp, embark on an approximately 40-minute hike to reach the spectacular Ratti Gali Lake. Enjoy photography and sightseeing around the lake before hiking back to the base camp. Later, drive back to Keran. Overnight stay in Keran.
After breakfast, depart for Sharda along the scenic Neelum Valley. Upon arrival in Sharda, transfer to a jeep and continue towards Kel. From Kel, embark on a short hike to the picturesque Aurang Kel and enjoy photography and sightseeing. Later, hike back to Kel and drive towards Sharda. Overnight stay in Kel/Aurang Kel.
After breakfast, embark on a full-day jeep safari to Taobat, enjoying photography and sightseeing along the scenic route. Make stopovers at Hamlat and Janawai before continuing towards Taobat. Upon arrival, explore the beautiful surroundings and enjoy the peaceful landscapes of the upper Neelum Valley. Later, drive back to Sharda. Overnight stay in Sharda.
After breakfast, enjoy photography and sightseeing in Sharda. Take a short hike to explore the remains of the historic temples in Sharda. Later, depart for Islamabad and travel along the same scenic route, with stopovers along the way. Upon arrival in Islamabad, the tour concludes. End of services.

Notes:
- Rates valid for traveling from 1 September to 31 October.
- Starting from Lahore will increase price by Rs.30,000/-.
- For 5 persons, a Honda BRV will be used instead of a sedan car.
Payment Procedure:
- 50 % advance payment is required in order to proceed with confirmation of services, minimum 4-5 days before the event.
- 50 % balance payable before commencement of the tour.
Cancellation Policy:
- Amount will be deducted for non-refundable advance paid for Hotels and Transportation services.
- Any sunk cost not mentioned above will be deducted.
- Refund amount will be processed in 7-10 working days.
- In the event of a tour cancellation by the client, a service fee amounting to 10% of the total tour cost will be charged by the company excluding sunk costs i.e. advance of hotels and vendors etc.
Important Notes:
- Package price is based upon current fuel prices i.e Rs.359 per liter petrol and Rs.382 per liter diesel. In case of sudden increase in fuel prices, package price will be updated accordingly whether tour is already booked or not.
- In case of payment through credit card, 13% service charges will be applied. (8% GST & 5% Bank SC)
- Standard hotel check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 PM (noon)

After a 4×4 ride from Dowarian to the base camp, it’s about a 40-minute hike to the lake. The trail is moderate but at high altitude, so a reasonable level of fitness and good footwear are recommended.
Yes, all travellers should carry their original CNIC (and passport for foreign nationals), as there are security check posts along the valley, especially near border areas like Keran and Taobut. It’s a routine requirement.
It covers private transport, fuel, 4 nights accommodation, daily breakfast, two separate 4×4 jeep excursions (one for Kel & Taobut, one for Ratti Gali Lake), driver’s food and lodging, and all tolls and taxes. Meals, entry tickets, activity charges, and personal expenses are excluded.
